If you happen to be part of a nurse agency or if you work with a nursing recruitment agency, then you may be interested to know that carers and those who work in care jobs are now said to be taking action against a bad pay deal. Nurses in Wales are going on strike once more as the members of the RCN have voted against the latest pay deal for the country. They have said if they do not get a better deal then they are going to have to make a change. The Welsh brand have come out to say that they have closed their strike ballot and that they have since announced the fact that the pay deal has now been rejected. This has been done by a slim majority. Those who are doing the strike are going to be covering the day shift but at the end of the day, there is not going to be any kind of derogation in place. Areas that were once exempt from the strikes could be somewhat involved. Those who work in oncology and those who have to participate in immediate pay negotiations are going to be impacted and that more has to be done to try and give support to those who truly need it.

Nursing staff always have the best interests of their patients at heart, and they remain to be ambassadors for the NHS. That being said, the government have to act now because if they don’t then they will not be doing what they can to protect those who are putting their lives on the line to help others. Of course, only time will tell what the future holds but right now, it looks like a positive change has to be made.
