CHILDRENS NURSE (BAND 5)

Nursdoc are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a specialist private healthcare provider for a Band 5 Registered Nurse – Child (RNC) to join a dedicated and multidisciplinary team supporting children and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.

Setting: Private Hospital – Children’s Palliative and End of Life Care

What we’re looking for:

• Registered Nurse – Child (RNC) with a minimum of 3 months of UK paediatric nursing experience.
• Strong background in complex care, palliative, or community-based settings.
• Ability to manage clinical risk and safeguarding confidently.
• A compassionate communicator with a proactive approach to continuous learning.
• Hardworking, adaptable, and a true team player with a commitment to high-quality care.

As a valued member of the team, you will:

• Deliver holistic, family-centred care in a range of environments, including private hospital settings, patients’ homes, and the wider community.
• Work on a flexible 24/7 rota to deliver responsive, needs-led care – including end-of-life and emergency situations.
• Hold your own caseload, performing complex clinical tasks and administering medication safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and optimal outcomes.
• Provide ongoing emotional and practical support to families from diagnosis through bereavement.
