REGISTERED MENTAL HEALTH NURSE

Nursdoc are actively seeking Mental Health Nurses with PEG and Epilepsy training to join our team in Northampton. The Ideal Candidate:

• 3 months professional nursing in a UK Healthcare setting
• Hardworking, adaptable, and able to respond quickly to changes
• Show a passion for high quality individual and teamwork
• Hold a DBS (on the Update Service) or be willing to purchase a DBS through Nursdoc
• Experience with Eating Disorders
• Must be PMVA and ILS trained
• Must have PEG and Epilepsy training

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide essential mental health support, including crisis intervention and emergency basic life support, while adhering to safety protocols.
• Deliver personal care with dignity, focusing on mental well-being, and respecting individual preferences and needs.
• Foster a supportive environment through therapeutic engagement, social activities, and companionship.
• Monitor and document individuals' mental health, ensuring clear and effective communication with all members of the healthcare support team.
