REGISTERED MENTAL HEALTH NURSE

Nursdoc are actively seeking Registered Mental Health Nurses to join our team at a Private Hospital located in Weston-Super-Mare. This role involves collaborating with a new client in a private mental health hospital dedicated to providing high-quality, personalised care. Our mission is to offer tailored mental health support that promotes independence, enhances life skills, and improves communication and social interactions. We emphasize comprehensive mental health care, focusing on therapy, rehabilitation, and emotional well-being.

The Ideal Candidate:

• 3 months professional nursing experience in a UK Healthcare setting
• Hardworking, adaptable, and able to respond quickly to changes
• Show a passion for high quality individual and teamwork
• Hold a DBS (on the Update Service) or be willing to purchase a DBS through Nursdoc

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments to patients, following prescribed orders with precision, while closely monitoring and documenting their effects.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs and mental health symptoms, utilising clinical judgment to identify and communicate patient needs.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health care plans, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications, ensuring clear understanding of treatment protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement personalised mental health care plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
