COMPLEX HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT

Nursdoc are actively seeking experienced Complex Care Healthcare Assistants to join our team, providing high-quality homecare support to clients across Leeds and surrounding areas. This role involves working closely with individuals who require specialist care within the comfort of their own homes, helping them maintain independence and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• PEG feeding and tracheostomy care.
• Managing autonomic dysreflexia (AD) and hypotension.
• Blood pressure monitoring and general observations.
• Spinal care and mobility assistance.
• Administering medications safely and in line with care plans.
• Providing personal care and support tailored to individual needs.
• Working collaboratively with families, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding care.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum 6 months UK healthcare experience in a complex care setting.
• DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one through Nursdoc.
• Adaptable, hardworking, and committed to delivering person-centred care.
• Must reside within a commutable distance of Sheffield.
• Knowledge of autonomic dysreflexia management and hypotension.
• Experience with PEG feeding, tracheostomy care, spinal injury care, and medication administration.
