CHEF

We are actively seeking dedicated Chefs to join our team in Tunbridge Wells in Kent for ongoing weekend work only, with the following shifts:

• Saturday: 09:00 - 17:30
• Sunday: 09:00 - 15:30

This opportunity involves working in supportive care home environment, and working closely with a new client within a setting dedicated to providing high-quality, personalised care.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous professional experience as a Chef, ideally in a healthcare or care home setting.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and dietary needs in care environments.
• Creative, adaptable, and passionate about providing high-quality, nutritious meals.
• Ability to cater to a variety of dietary requirements, including special diets for residents with specific needs.
• Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Hold a DBS (on the Update Service) or be willing to purchase a DBS through Nursdoc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and cook nutritious and appealing meals that meet the dietary requirements of residents.
• Ensure food safety standards are consistently met and maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment.
• Cater to individual dietary needs and preferences, ensuring all meals are served with dignity and respect.
• Monitor food stock levels and order supplies as necessary to meet the needs of the service.
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the highest standards of care and service delivery.
