CLINICAL SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPIST

Nursdoc are actively seeking a Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at a Private Healthcare Facility in Tadworth, Surrey. We are seeking a dedicated professional with expertise in anatomy, speech therapy, medical terminology, and physiology knowledge to join our dynamic healthcare team.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum of 2 years professional experience as a Speech and Language Therapist in a UK healthcare setting.
• Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong clinical reasoning and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about providing high-quality, individualised care for children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication issues.
• Develop individualised treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Provide therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
• Maintain detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans.
• Educate patients and their families on techniques for improving communication skills.
• Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in speech therapy practices.
