HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT

Nursdoc are actively seeking Health Care Assistants and Care Support Workers to join our team at various nursing home locations in and around Belfast. This opportunity is centered around delivering high-quality, personalised care. The mission? Provide customised support that prioritises independence, develops life skills, and enhance communication and social interactions.

The Ideal Candidate:

• 6 months professional experience in a UK Healthcare setting.
• Hardworking, adaptable, and able to respond quickly to changes.
• Show a passion for high quality individual and teamwork
• Hold a DBS (on the Update Service) or be willing to purchase a DBS through Nursdoc

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute essential tasks, including safe mobility support and emergency basic life support, adhering to safety protocols.
• Deliver personal care with dignity, focusing on bathing, dressing, and grooming, respecting individual preferences.
• Contribute to a supportive atmosphere through meaningful engagement, social activities, and companionship.
• Monitor and document residents’ health, ensuring clear communication with all members in the healthcare support team.
