Nursdoc are actively seeking Senior Health Care Assistants to join our team in Blackpool. As a Senior Healthcare Assistant of Nursdoc, you will primarily be focusing on providing high-quality, individualised care in a supportive nursing home environment. The role involves close work with service users to promote independence, life skills, and enhance social interactions, ensuring each resident's comfort and well-being. Responsibilities include medication administration and tailored support.
The Ideal Candidate:
- 6 months professional experience in a UK Healthcare setting
- Hardworking, adaptable, and able to respond quickly to changes
- Show a passion for high quality individual and teamwork
- Hold a DBS (on the Update Service) or be willing to purchase a DBS through Nursdoc
- Hold a medication administration certificate and be a qualified Band 3 HCA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute essential tasks, including safe mobility support and emergency basic life support, adhering to safety protocols
- Deliver personal care with dignity, focusing on bathing, dressing, and grooming, respecting individual preferences
- Contribute to a supportive atmosphere through meaningful engagement, social activities, and companionship
- Monitor and document residents’ health, ensuring clear communication with all members in the healthcare support team
