HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT

Nursdoc is currently seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to join our team at a welcoming residential care home in Pitsea, Essex. This role involves delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents, supporting their day-to-day needs in a safe, comfortable, and homely environment.

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals who can make a real difference to the lives of others, working alongside a friendly and professional team to promote dignity, independence, and well-being.

Part-time or full-time hours available – flexible to suit your availability.

The ideal candidate:

• 6 months professional experience in a UK Healthcare setting.
• Hardworking, adaptable, and able to respond quickly to changes.
• Show a passion for high quality individual and teamwork
• Hold a DBS (on the Update Service) or be willing to purchase a DBS through Nursdoc

Key responsibilities:

• Assist with core healthcare duties such as moving and handling and basic life support
• Provide personal care with dignity, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Help to ensure patient comfort through interaction, companionship, and emotional support
• Work as part of a collaborative team to support patients’ physical and emotional needs
